Further to the information below. Take note that the Powell River Yacht Club 2011 Parade of Lights committee has been busy arranging prizes for the winning boats. The committee has arranged for prizes worth hundreds of dollars. So...... Get the decorations out, let your imaginations run free and enter your boat in a fun tradition and possibly win some great prizes!
If you don't have a boat, you can still take part in this tradition. Come on down to Willingdon Beach for hot chocolate at the bonfire as we watch the wonderfully decorated boats go by.
